My stay at Sofitel Melbourne On Collins was quite enjoyable, with some highlights and a few drawbacks. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and I appreciated the excellent views from my room. The dining options were decent, although I found some limitations in variety. Overall, it was a comfortable experience, yet I had some minor issues that could use improvement.

5.6/10

I had a mixed experience at Sofitel Melbourne On Collins. The upgrade to a luxury room on the 47th floor offered great views, but the poor ventilation left much to be desired. While the service was great and the staff friendly, I believe the hotel could use a renovation to enhance the overall experience.

Rooms

The luxury room had beautiful views, but ventilation issues caused condensation to drip down onto the carpet, making it hard to enjoy the scenery.

My stay at Sofitel Melbourne On Collins was quite nice. I enjoyed the perfect combination of a prime location, very nice views, and an impressive level of service. However, I did experience a lackluster check-in process that put a slight damper on the initial impression. Overall, I would return, especially for the beautiful accommodations and excellent dining options.

The rooms had a classy vibe and decent views, though I found some areas like the bathroom a bit dated. I appreciated the smooth check-in process and enjoyed the really good dining experience at No 35. However, the IT issues during checkout were frustrating and affected the overall experience.

I had an very nice experience at Sofitel Melbourne On Collins. From the warm welcome by the staff to the stunning views from my room, everything felt luxurious and comforting. I did face some noise issues from the adjoining room and the late-night room service was a bit of a hassle, but overall, the kindness and professionalism of the team made my stay nice. I would definitely choose to stay here again for my next visit to Melbourne.
